This module acts as the final control element in Tricon™SIS and is responsible for driving the safety actuator based on the safety logic implemented in the system. Its key functions are as follows:

Receive a digital control signal from the Tricon™ security logic controller.
Isolated safety signals: Electrical isolation is provided between safety logic and field equipment to enhance safety and fault tolerance.
Drive safety actuators: Start or deactivate safety-critical devices such as:
Solenoid valves are used to stop or divert flow
Start the system and shut down the device
Alarms and indicators for personnel notification
