The PROSOFT MVI56E-MNET is a network interface module that allows Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLCs to communicate with Modbus TCP/IP devices. It supports both client and server functionality, so the ControlLogix can act as a master or slave on the network. The MVI56E-MNET also has a number of advanced features, such as:

Support for up to 16 simultaneous Modbus TCP/IP connections
Dual Ethernet ports for redundancy
Web server for configuration and monitoring
CIPconnect® technology for bridging between ControlNet™ and EtherNet/IP™ networks
