The NI SCXI-1001 is a 4-slot host case used with the NI SCXI Modular instrument system. It provides housing and power for a variety of SCXI modules, allowing users to build custom data acquisition and measurement systems.

Product Description:

Up to four SCXI modules of any type can be accommodated, enabling users to customize their systems to specific measurement needs.
Provides power and signal routing for installed SCXI modules.
Provides the following functions:
Fan heat dissipation: helps the module maintain the optimal operating temperature.
Status indicator: Displays the power supply and communication status of the chassis and installed modules.
Daisy chain feature: Allows multiple scsi-1001 enclosures to be connected together using a single multi-function I/O device or module for larger systems.
