Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Turck, a manufacturer of sensor, connectivity and fieldbus technologies for factory, logistics and process automation, today announced the launch of its programmable TX700FB series HMI/PLC. The equipment provides a positive protection rating of IP69K for high pressure cleaning in the food and beverage processing industry as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The FB device was developed in accordance with hygienic design requirements (EN1672-2 DIN, EHEDG/FDA 21 CFR 177.2006) and is equipped with a stainless steel front panel. The front of the equipment is designed with IP69K protection rating, so the equipment is water resistant at high pressures up to 80°c. FB products also have acid and chemical resistance.
