Product Description:

The SLS1508 modules provide logic-solving capabilities and interface with up to 16 I/O channels. These channels can be configured for various types, including:

Discrete Input (DI) for receiving on/off signals from sensors and switches
Discrete Output (DO) for sending on/off commands to actuators and valves
Analog Input (AI) for reading continuous analog signals like temperature or pressure
HART two-state output for controlling devices with HART communication protocol
The SLS1508 modules communicate with each other and other system components through a dedicated network for high reliability and redundancy. They operate independently of the DeltaV controller, ensuring process safety even if the controller malfunctions.
