The 146031-01 card acquires vibration data from proximity probes or accelerometers attached to critical machinery such as turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors. It processes the collected data, performing signal conditioning and calculations like peak detection, RMS (Root Mean Square), and FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis to extract relevant vibration signatures. This information is then transmitted to the DCS for further analysis, alarming, and process control.
