Additional Arc Flash Protection is Available
To help you increase workplace safety, Rockwell Automation has expanded ArcShield™ technology
for CENTERLINE 2100 motor control centers. A device limited arc flash solution for up to 600V and 3000 A current rating is now available.
ArcShield technology is an electric arc fault containment solution. MCCs with the technology are designed to contain an arcing fault for the time it takes the pre-tested main protective device to clear the fault.
Arc Flash Protection for High-amp Applications
The expanded range provides additional arc flash protection for high-current applications – typically used in the oil, gas, mining, water treatment and power generation industries. The mains are chosen to limit the amount of available incident energy. The new ArcShield safety range offers twice the bus current rating for 600V power applications up to 3000 amps.
The CENTERLINE 2100 MCC with new 600V device limited 1600…3000 A ArcShield technology meets strict industry safety standards:

Withdrawable Air Circuit Breakers Offered
A CENTERLINE 2100 motor control center is now available with a withdrawable air circuit breaker for a main breaker. You can specify the high-performance breakers to help increase safety with remote operations and decrease downtime with easier service to removable components.
Withdrawable air circuit breakers are frequently required in oil, gas, metals and mining applications with NEMA and UL regulations:
- SCCR ratings:
- 65 kA @ 600V for typical applications
- 100 kA @ 600V for demanding applications
- Rated up to 3200 A
